<title>ski resorts by funicular help needed?????</title>
<description> i would love to get more in to ski-ing and recently went to les arc by staying in bourg st maurice and using the funicular to go ski-ing.what i want to know is are there any similar set ups where i can travel by train and stay in a village/town and then get a funicular or mountain train to the resort rather than stay in the actual resort???????</description>

<description> I think you can stay in Courchevel 1300 by getting the train from Aix le Baines. Don't quote me, but having been there 3 times it's the only route we could work out where the track went!!!</description>
