Mirrored goggles low light????

I always had the cheapie Aldi goggles ,they are perfectly fine for me but i want a bit more of a stylish pair
Do they make a mirrored pair that are ok for low light as well??
Oakley seem to do some nice ones but they are out of my price range ...Any other make new or second hand(ebay)

Go into your local ski shop and try some on, find a type you like and then search the internet 8)

Ian is right and to add to that do lots of internet research. You can find plenty of information about different lenses in varying light levels and how it will affect your visibility.

Generally, the mirrored lenses are for bright light conditions (the mirroring reflects light, of course) but you might be able to get something with a very light mirror effect. Unlikely from Aldi I would have thought.

Keep an eye out for sales; Oakleys do appear at good discounts occasionally and are well worth the money if you can get a reduced price.

Sportpursuit have a bunch of Bolle goggles at half-price and less at the moment so worth a look if you don't need them immediately. They have had some Oakley skiwear recently too, but not sure about goggles.

Mirrored lenses are for sunny conditions.
However you an get goggles with interchangeable lenses, i.e. 1 yellow/orange for a cloudy day and one mirrored for a sunny one.
I can recommend Adidas Yodai.

I bought a pair of smith i/is this season and cannot fault them ...interchangeable lenses and they don't steam up...but you get what you pay for

As mentioned above find a pair you like the look of in shop and trawl the net for the best price then just purchase the extra lenses. I have a pair of anon which came with a reflective lens, I then purchased the low light lens from the same range, looked exactly the same just slightly more transparent.

Think my goggles were about GBP75 and the extra lens was GBP30 from memory.

I tried on the O Frame/Catapult & A frame but the A Frame seem so much better looking and quality
So i went in to Snow and Rock and they priced matched the on-line Website which had an additional 25% off as well
GBP80 but got them for GBP48 delivered ..They seem to go for more than that on ebay scecond hand.. i hope i made the right choice
