I have it on good authority that you may hear this song quite a lot whilst sipping a Gluwein, downing a schnapps or quoffing a beer during apres this season.

I feel some topless table dancing coming on involving pointing at people and waving my hands around like the bloke trying to get your plane into the parking bay

I prefer a bit of pseudo European throwback Hair Rock for my Apres

There's a band who play in VDI who meet all the criteria and score a bonus point for the splendid name of: "Mullit"

(dunno if they mean fish but I think hair cut despite the spelling)

You can't beat a bit of Livin' On A prayer in your ski boots.....

I prefer a nice meal a decent bottle of Vino and a nice family chat 8)

Although I have been known to hit the karoke bars for a sing song, but I have not found many in the alps apart from a stinky club below ground in Valmorel. :roll:

But the point of Apres music is that it happens after ski (hence the name) and BEFORE you have your tea with free wine in the chalet!!!!!

Doe's anyone know what the tune they sing and play in austrian resorts is called? it goes something like "swim swim swim" and everyone doe's the arm actions and all sorts, lol!

OMG thats shocking...but it does remind me of a few hours in the Nederhutte :lol:
and a guy from luton who had been in obergurgl for 2 weeks with his mates...they all went home but he was having such a good time he didnt get the coach stayed there on his own..never got to find out his name but do have a few photos of him on the tables...lol

Its funny, of the places I've been to I'm Austria, I've only come across the eisbar song. All those other noddyish songs must be reserved for other resorts possibly?

French apres ski (is that an oxymoron?) seems to involve, from what I remember, rave anthems and club classics.

Italian bars also seemed to like the dance music theme.
