Re:Shopping for ski cloths near to Munich airport

No idea kansin, sorry, just don't know the area at all.
I suppose your travel arrangements would make the biggest impact?
Car = lots of flexibility whereas public transport means little.

In France there are huge sports supermarkets in the main towns down in the valleys.
For example Intersport in Albertville, near so many of the big French ski resorts, I used to shop here quite often when I lived there. Much more choice and better prices than sports shops in the resorts. Could searching for similar in Germany and Austria help?

Re:Shopping for ski cloths near to Munich airport

There are lots of shops selling quality ski clothing between Munich airport and Innsbruck. There are some really big sports shops in Munich itself; Sporthaus Schuster, SportScheck and Sport Bittl. The motorway to Innsbruck passes lots of towns that have ski shops, Intersport Eybl on the outskirts of Worgl is close to a motorway exit. All of them have websites so you can check out what they stock before visiting.

Hi Kansin,
Welcome to J2ski.

When you are on the autobahn heading for Innsbruck, take the first turn for Woergl. (There is one before, and one after the town.

Head into the town, and then for the rail station, bahnhof. There is a good Hervis store on the right.

Back on the main road, carry on, and in one kilometre, there is a big Intersport on the right.

After this, carry on for half a km, and there is turn off to the Autobahn.
