Name the run

Time for a little pre-season fun, name the run and the resort:

It looks very similar to the bottom of the Grand Couloir in Courchevel, but its been a long time - 20 years.

Did a couple of seasons there once upon a time. Seems its etched in the memory. I do have some photos but I need to sort them out online - I'll be back!

Adam, I've got no idea where that photo was taken, but I do know how to use photobucket. Once you had your photo up on photobucket all you had to do was click that link on the right hand centre, called IMG code, and it automatically copies it, and then you paste it up on here, and you get a picture!

Oh, and so you don't make an idiot of yourself (like I did when it took me about ten go's to get a photo up the first time) you click on 'preview' instead of 'submit' so you can check you really do have the photo.

I think you might be right about the resort, though I think it's just below the bottom of the aiguille rouge lift, which would make that the red arandelieres run?

I am really rubbish at telling the difference between one piste and another - but AndyHull's one looks a bit like Courchevel. I remember ski-ing around some huge pylons like that!

Hmmm. One of two then I can think of. The Face on the way down to Val d'? I don't remember that bit if it is... but then I was concentrating looking downhill than up it! If it isn't, then I will let someone else have a go.

Coombe Martin then? simply off a piste map...but I don't remember the run at all.
