Excited!!!!

Today I bought a new bobble and a base layer. Not much but it's really got me in the mood now.

The bobble is amazing by the way and is number 15 in my collection.

Will try to avoid buying anything this year. Though I have a pair of Look Pivots so might get them a pair of skis:)

My OH has scored in the 1st purchase stakes, I must be slipping!. He's got some BCA Alpine Trekkers, some BD Skins and some Lange Rx 120 to wear 8)

I'm going to need some new sunnies as well after the arm of my particularly nice Jean Louis Scherrer's fell off whilst riding my bike a couple of weeks ago :cry:

I have bough a new drinks bladder for my rucksack...managed to freeze the pipe in the last one by not blowing the water back in after I'd had a drink - oops!! And me, thinking I can break the ice up managed to screw the whole thing up....

That's it so far!!

I have managed to stay out of the local ski outfitters so far. I was tempted but managed to veer away at the last moment. I'm not sure if I can keep it up for much longer though... the ski fever is starting to get to me.

Not that I need any new equipment...... that's never stopped me before though :oops:

I have bough a new drinks bladder for my rucksack...managed to freeze the pipe in the last one by not blowing the water back in after I'd had a drink - oops!! And me, thinking I can break the ice up managed to screw the whole thing up....

Get an insulated tube, but can be about GBP20 or as I have done get the insulation itself from ebay about GBP3 and put on yourself.

Bit of a slow process getting it on but worth it, works well!

Need to get a helmet, otherwise all ok from last time. I am sure I can rationalise some purchase or other tho !

Actually I forgot that I made a purchase - season pass and also extended the locker use for another year. But I definitely don't need any more gear, although don't need and don't want are different things so will see how the season progresses:)

Wickers you can put what you want into the bladder -)

Anyway, they are very useful if you are skiing away from high traffic areas, after all restaurants only get built if there are enough skiers passing to make a profit.

No, it's just that I get incredibly dehydrated skiing, and I inevitably end up squashing water bottles on chair lifts and the like.

At French or St Anton prices, probably - yes!!!!
