Piste dementia

Am I alone? I have what can only be described as piste dementia, try as I might I have no idea where I am when skiing. I totally lose my bearings. Thankfully my daughter is on the ball. As for piste maps....complete gobbledygook !! Aside from my piste problems, looking forward to Sauze D'Oulx, Feb half term...YAY.

Always try to keep heading down the slope.

I find it is much harder if you try to do it the other way and head uphill :shock:

You wont have any trouble finding hills to walk when finding the bars.

I occasionally mix up resorts, thinking just around that corner is a nice red, only to realise when I get there that I'm thinking of somewhere else entirely....

My OH and I like to decide which run we are going to try next on the way up on the lift.

Shall we take the Red or the Blue?

Let's try the Blue,

OK.

Then when we get off the ski lift he sets off down the Red! Apparently he can't distinguish between a Red and a Blue marker with his goggles on!!

Why do I bother? :roll:

The worst is when black poles look blue through goggles.... :shock:
