Is it possible to alter the time out on this site?

No sooner then I type out a message the site times out and have to log in, but the site does not return to where you were so you have to type out the message again, which times out...

Well done for typing this message and sending it before you got off :thumbup:

The only time that ever happens to me is if I type a very long message, and I've got wise to it now and I save it in Word or somewhere - just in case! And the same thing happens if the internet cuts out for some reason - the message gets lost.

Have you tried using the new feedback button to report this problem?

I will be very interested to hear any answers on this myself, as I don't know the solution to your problem. Best of luck :D

Can you give a bit more info please.

Does this do it from everywhere, or just from certain places you use the internet? What sort of device are you using, ie pc, laptop, phone etc.? And what browser do you usually use?

How very strange - Because I have just been typing a private message went to answer a phonecall came back finished message pressed send and it told me to log on again - didn't know I had been logged off so lost the lot :( Will save on word next time.

Lizzie - I wonder why the BB keeps getting ticked with you? Does the disable smiley box get ticked as well?

To get back on topic - I wonder why some of us get timed out and others don't?

Do you think that maybe it depends on whether you're programmed to log on everytime you open J2Ski?

I prefer to be sneaky and look at J2Ski without being logged on and then just log on to type a message - so maybe this is why I get timed out?

How does your ipad connect to the internet? Via a wi-fi network or via a 3g type connection?

:cry: Not sure in that case, I was wondering if a 3g connection was turning itself off to save power/costs, but a wi-fi should retain the same settings if it did that.

Do you have an option to "stay" logged in when you actually log on (or remember password)? Have you tried that?

For the record, when I connect on my mobile I get logged out v v v quickly. If I am typing a long message I simply copy the text before I try and submit ;)
