yep...it felt like Antarctica in Lincolnshire during winter 2010. I drove the kids to school one day (no buses for about 2 weeks) and the car thermometer read minus 14.5 degrees.

How did the two of you manage to get back up without messing up all the snow?

I put my photo of the car park in Meribel in that photo competition. I had been saving it up for the next question about snow chains and driving to the Alps, but no-one's asked recently :cry:

The picture was taken 8 months after i met Mrs Iceman (Miss Iceman at that time). so we were still friends! :shock:

We stood up and slowly lowered ourselves down into that position, then got back up. Bear in mind it took about 30 mins to get it right as it was made up of me getting stuck in waist deep snow and falling over in the snow!

Say so myself, one of the best pics ever! In the future it will be referred to as me & a friend :cry:

I have 3 siblings, and out of the 4 of us we have a 50% divorce rate. Not so good, huh :cry:
