How many people actually know the origins of SHROVE TUESDAY (aka Pancake Day)?
How many people who eat pancakes on Shrive Tuesday are actually religious and understand the true meaning of it (Lent)?

I dont think Lent is about lsing weight, nor am I a Christian that believes in all this hocus pocus - I do know the meaning of it though....alleged meaning :twisted: But it is the only time of year that Aunt Bessie sells her pancake mixture and I love it

Lemon and sugar all the way - or in my case Lemon...

And Valentines day - Load of bull. Especially this year :cry:

Could go on about Christmas, Easter etc but I wont....

Golden syrup and lemon for me. Nom!

As pancake day is in February, it's naturally ski related as it falls in winter. And I shall be eating pancakes on holiday too. 10 sleeps!

Mardi Gras in Verbier is great! I missed this year because of work commitments but last two seasons I was there and it was fanstastic!
