Dilemma.....Shall I buy ski trousers in the UK or USA??

Hi All
I wonder if anyone can help me. I am off to Breckenridge, Colorado next month and would like to buy a new pair of ski trousers/pants. Would I be best off waiting to buy a pair when I get there as to buying them here before I go?...oh by the way, I do own a pair already, just fancied buying a different colour for a change as I always wear black ones.

If it were me and you don't need them to ski on the first day I would wait till the resort and then enjoy having a look around to see if there are any you fancy.

Shopping in Denver would be your best bet if you have time there. The best deals are on line, so if there is the possibility of having them delivered to the place you are staying at, it would be worth looking at that option.

Definitely. US brands would be a good buy in particular, I'm thinking North Face here.

Defo cheaper in the US. If its GBP150 it will be $150 generally, and then theres big sales on a lot of the time. I am told this weekend would be a good time to buy, Presidents Day or something?

We went skiing to Killington in march a couple of years ago and the end of season sales were fantastic. I'd definitely hang on.

I think in summer you can only buy ski gear online or in shops specializing in ski stuff only. At least in switzerland you can't find any winter stuff in general sport shops during summer. Also, sale stuff will mostly disappear even in the specialised or online shops and you will end up paying prime rate for next season's stuff.
