Buying ski boots in Passo Tonale

I hope to be buying my first pair of ski boots in Passo Tonale.

For those of you who have been, what range of boots have you seen there? I'm an intermediate-advanced skier, looking for some boots which are comfortable with decent performance. I've tried some boots here in Australia, and the Lang RX100LV and Diabello Venom 80 seem to fit well.

What are some Italian phrases that might help with the boot fitting?

-hurts here

There's been loads of different threads about buying boots and pros and cons buying in resort.
Make sure the shop you choose is not busy when you go in. hopefully someone can come along with a recommendation of a good fitter.
You need to have a long chat with the fitter about your skiing and expectations, if he offers you more than two pairs of boots after he/she assesses your feet walk out!
My biggest fear would be needing adjusting after you left remembering your boots can take a few Weeks to bed in even with the mouldings that now the norm. Hope my humble opinions help.

My partner bought his Head boots in Passo 3 years ago and hasn't had any problems. If you don't mind last seasons model you will get a reasonable price. Take your time choosing, visit several shops, most of the shops have English speakers.
I bought my own boots in Sauze 5 years ago from a store that also hires boots, I was able to try the boots I eventually bought from the hire range.
Have fun on the glacier and take a look at the sled dogs!
