I hope no one has bookings with "Take Me To Ski" as they have gone bust leaving some skiers very unhappy.

I think it was Samski or something like that but i thought he worked for the hotel itself and not the TO.....could be wrong though

They were at the Ski show Tony, well i saw them in brum.

Their site is still active, if they have gone under why are you still able to book holidays through their site? Shouldn't there be a notice put on it to inform people.... Bad times.

Im not sure if you can, you can click the book now option but it asks you to call.

It's funny though I was only looking at their offers a couple of months ago.... Not funny for those who have been left stuck though...

Sorry guys I havent been on in a while.

Basically the company went bankrupt and all the staff were made redundant:

but its really dodgy because a previous company ran by the same people went bankrupt and then was bought by another company RAN BY THE SAME PEOPLE:

The owner of the hotel leased it for 3 years to take me too so at the moment she cant run it herself or she will be in breach of the lease. She is currently in court trying to get back her hotel as she is determined to reopen the hotel properly and try and salvage the reputation of her family's hotel.

The current manager has taken some bookings in cash but I dont think that is going to continue.

yeah it is. great location and facilities

no damange or vandalism just a bunch of stuff has gone missing that take me to had put in like flat screen tvs..

I'm sure nothing bad will happen to the hotel, by the sounds of it the hotelier hadn't the foggiest what was going on behind the scenes......

Plus if the location is so great etc then I'm sure the skiers will return, and hopefully the family can turn their business back around and hopefully not make the mistake again. Unknown to them.

Yep, exactly.

These phoenix holidays people are well dodgy. Ive heard they are trying to start a new company to then buy the old one and start again? Screwed up my season, kinda, im now a ski bum which has its up and downs.

This is the same resort I split up with my ex girlfriend in like 2 years ago almost to the day. Im not sure I'll be coming back here...

and the thing I love about people like that is that it's never their fault (this time, last time, or even the time before that).

Reading those reviews, you just know there's some wannabe fat cat hiring the cheapest management they can get, and then they'll blame it all on the staff.

ah man

they want to evict us from the apartments tomorrow and move us to temporary accomodation and provide transport back to our home countries (provided by the marie)

even if the tenancy agreement was with phoenix holidays and the apartment block owner - surely they cant force us to move with only 12 hours notice?

looking for an apartment in ADH/Bourg but everything seems to be weekly rent.

anyone help with the eviction laws in our strange situation or point me to a good website for season let?
