Climbing the walls

With all the snow falling at the moment, and it being only a matter of days until I go for trip 1 of the season, I'm starting to climb the walls here. I know I wont be alone.
But its driving me mental now.

Worse for me! I've been going in January for the last 6-7 years and this year picked the first week in March because it fitted the group better....over 7 weeks to wait!

I got my kit out last weekend (for want of a better phrase). Pointless, it's just cluttering up the bedroom now.

Me to :cry: Im that desperate to go i even looked at a cheeky weekend trip for this weekend. The cost came out a pretty much what a week would cost. Im praying it keeps snowing and we have powder days in March

As part of my therapy I like to look at the webcams (as I'm sure 99% of the rest of you do)

Why can I see grassy patches in the bellow cam, after an apparent 2 meters of snow falling over the last 3 weeks?

Just gotta put a coat of wax on Mrs W new skis.

You havent waxed the brake discs as well have you? Otherwise you might be putting a new tunnel under the channel.

Hi Guys, gals and undecided :mrgreen:
Just thought I would drop a quick note to say that I have climbed the wall, skied down, done it again, again, and once more this week in L2A.
Snow is bril and holding up superbly right down to resort, even good snow at 1350m.
A week of sunshine and snow and good company.
But - a very intermittent and poor internet connection. Lucky you!! As I haven't been able to drive you insane going on about the skiing. :oops:

I do love this site. Went for my first day and a half to cauterettes between xmas and new year. Now looking to 2 weeks time when 6 of us 40 ish chaps are off to Pas de la Casa for a long weekend. New years resolution to go at least one weekend every month. just love it. :D

Have a great time everyone that's due to go out soon, and whilst your climbing walls etc. with excitement be careful not to injure yourself. Every year there seems to be a very sad thread from some poor person who's injured themselves before their holiday and can't ski.

I walked into a trolley in the dark in Lidl's car park myself recently, 10 days before I was due to go ski-ing and really whacked my knee but luckily it was okay by the time I went :D

Or, if you use Photogene app on the iPad you can FTP your pics to your webspace and then post them yourself on your fav websites
