Easiest Cheap transfer to a resort from GVA

Hi

I have a long weekend and looking at flying into GVA and going from there. Would like to avoid a hire car if possible.

So out to you, the easiest and cheapest place to go for three days with a mid afternoon deparrure on the last day to get back to GVA for the flight home that night!

went there a last year and can thoroughly recommend it

and a punto for 3 days will cost about the same as the transfers( Euro135) and from there you are 5 minutes to gran Massif and 20 minutes to Les Gets

58 minutes from Geneva

The world is your Oyster my friend you have so many resorts with in an hour of Geneva, Have a think about La Clusaz or Le Grand bornand.
There is a bloke over in la Clusaz who operates a couple of catered Chalets and I think he does fit in short breaks,Pm me if you want details.

Hi,

I know it's not quite the answer , but if you can stretch to a week, on the transfer side I have just used BensBus for a return transfer Geneva - Bourg-St-Maurice - Geneva for only GBP73.

On the car hire side have you looked at Autoeurope, they are about the cheapest car hire people about and rate them very highly after 10 years and many tens of trips.

You can get the train to Cluses than local buses to Samoens, Morillon, Flaine, Les Carroz all Grand Massif or Les Gets, Morzine and Avoriaz

Snow & Rail to Flumserberg from ZRH. On week-ends the ski-shuttle train leaves from ZRH airport train station.

More resorts with a train station in the village, high up and snow guaranteed: Andermatt-Gotthard, Engelberg-Titlis, Arosa.
