No skiing this year

So....it's down to you guys to provide me with all the thrills I need this season. 8) I am very pleased to share that we are expecting our first baby at the end of March and so decided the money is gonna be needed elsewhere.....

Were Gutted we won't be able to take our usual trips away Skiing this year but also delighted with our news, so not all bad.... :D

I Would like to see the usual reports and plenty of pics throughout the season. Stay safe and ski well :wink:

Bad news but good news, but looking forward imagine the fun you will have in the not to distant future or skiing as a family. Good luck with the sleepless nights :wink:

Thanks guys for the messages.... Sleepless nights will be hard but really looking fwd to it (don't know what where having) being old enough to ski... Always loved seeing the nippers barely able to walk yet somehow mange to whizz down the slopes...

Have you considered the possibilty of actually having the baby in a ski resort? Just think, natural acclimatisation to altitude, natural ability to ski (at least it seems that way on all the local kids I have seen), dual nationality options, plus you get your ski trip :twisted:

I'm sure your insurance would be fine crispy, after all there's not any real difference to you skiing as a father than there is as not.
I've never heard that fatherdom is something that insurers even need notifying about.

Congratulations!

I put my son on skis when he was 3. He's 11 now, probably a better skier than me and I have to say that our family skiing holidays are one of the great joys in my life.
