Makings on piste maps.

Guys,

Can someone take a look at this map of adh and tell me what these markings are:

Some pistes have little + signs all along them.....any idea what this means?

Also a couple, such as the one to the left of the snow park, are highlighted in yellow. What is this?

there is no reference to them on the key.

The yellow bits are the snowparks.

The little crosses are snowflakes, meaning run has snow cannons on it.

Ahhh.....snow cannons. I get it now.

The yellow though is the snow park but i mean the yellow/black piste below Signal down to Villard. Does this mean the run has rails and stuff on it?

Its unlikely to have rails etc. as its on the edge of the domaine and through the trees. Pretty run in good conditions.
You are also looking at an old piste map.
This year's one is here:

It is just marked as a "normal" black (whatever that is).
FYI there is a new blue piste leading down into Oz en Oisans to add to the variations.

Piste Natural, it's not pisted. La Foret, great run - or more of a whole hill side to play on. Great fun.

I've found a photo of it, taken from the bottom of the chairlift.

As you can see it's a big area to play on.

Those runs down the back of Signal give you a lot of scope for off piste.
Normally black/yellow means something like unpisted or itinerary route.
Theres a couple of runs in ADH that show as reds but are usually unpisted, which we only found out when we hit them, much to my delight and my wifes disgust!!!
