On the subject of sunglasses.....

......what about goggles?
Everyones got different ones I imagine.
What do you wear, how much did you pay for them, and what do they look like?

Heres mine: Adidas Yodai, rrp GBP120, paid GBP50 for them -absolute bargain.

Mine are Anon and were GBP80. Came with a low light and high light lense. Would post a pic but cant figure out how to do it :(

L Frame's usually from EB or SnR end of season. Occasionally from a UK sports specs supplier. Ambush's came from the Oakley store at Portsmouth Gunwharf Quays, they are also online, can't recall the shop name right now.

Some Bolle ones, from S'n'R, not expensive as I'll only lose them/sit on them/fall on them - they do the job!!

Also have sunnies for lounging at lunchtime of the weather's nice, bought them in Boots a few years ago, some random make, but they're sports sunnies so keep the glare out really well.

Lens colour can depend on the colour of your eyes. I don't like the yellow lenses because my grey eyes find them too harsh (apparently if I had brown eyes it wouldn't bother me), so I have pink lenses...and the whole world is rosy.

Key thing was that they fit with my helmet, didn't leave that little gap at the top which gives you brain freeze. Bolle, Euro60 with big discount. Black.

I have sunnies for the spring to avoid the goggle tan lines, but I end up crying a lot at speed.

Have some Cebe goggles - no idea of the model or the price, but they weren't expensive. They are my longest surviving pair as the tale below is typical.

Didn't have goggles on a particularly poor visibility day in Tignes a few years ago, Got down to Tignes les Brevieres for lunch and decided I had to improve my vision with a new pair. Purchase made, not cheap, but much better afternoon's skiing. That evening, leant on them in the bar, cracked lens, useless goggles!

I have Oakley Stockholmes...Had them a while now, can't remember how much but paid full price for them. I also have a pair of Smith Anthems, GBP30 ebay and they were new with tags on. I'm very happy with both but want to get some black iridium lenses for the Stockholmes too. 8)

Cebe some iridium lens ones. Bought in VT few years back when the ones I had cracked. About GBP100, but that was in resort - admittingly I look like The Fly. But then again I can look in 'other directions' without anyone knowing ;)

Scott - Getting for xmas this year as they fit my lid better. Come with 2 lenses. Cant remember anything else as they are "surprise"

Got my goggs at the ski show last year when I bumped into you guys, paid GBP30 for a great pair of Anon's and they fit great over the helmet :D they should have been GBP120.

Love a deal :D

Best tan I've ever seen was some young bloke who had a great goggle tan combined with a helmet tan - just a small square of his face around his noce and mouth that had any colour - priceless!!

Zeal detonators photo-chromatic they were reduce to GBP80. I also use their sunglasses find them to be excellent, equal to Oakley's IMHO
