I have just bought a Degre 7 ski jacket (currently retailing at GBP300 - which is discounted from GBP380) for GBP50...Hip Hip hoorah for ebay!!!

Thats a bargain. Well made ski gear, personally I'm not keen on their designs, but very good quality.
Haven't found anything I want on Ebay recently, I'm still after a particular red jacket.

Just got me a bargain...

Agreed, I have Degre 7 salopettes too, they are so well made. They are my favourites.

Have you heard the saying 'All the Gear no idea' ?

Well some people (often those who have more money than sense) spend loads kitting themselves out for their first skiing holiday only to find that they hate it. :shock:

They don't go again so they sell their gear! Yay for ebay :thumbup:

Reminds me of a conversation I overheard at a ski show between a lady admiring a very swanky ski suit and the sales person.
"It's a lovely ski suit, but you wouldn't want to ski in it, more for walking around town really"

Last season, I had the chance for the perfect jacket, a North Face paclite jacket which was bright red with darker red in places, absolutely spot on, and it was half price in Ellis Brigham at GBP125.
And like a dick I left it on the shelf.
That would be the perfect one. I think it may have been called the Prophecy, but when I google it I only get this seasons which I dont like.

I'd possibly go as much GBP125 .... but I think the most I have ever paid was a Nevica two piece which cost GBP180 back in 1992.
I have just brought a Surfanic Jacket a couple of months back reduced to GBP48 a bargain including pp, a little on the large size but something to grow into. :lol:

I bought myself a new ski jacket in Millets, reduced from about GBP80 to GBP24. The only problem is that it's so warm and comfy I've started wearing it when I go out already!
