This is not a general winter sports survey. It appears to be a back country/off piste survey. I would think that the data collected would be useless if skewed by non back country skiers and boarders, not to mention that most snowmobiles are used in flat terrain.

Done. And I agree with what Trencher said, if your not an off piste/back-country skier then your not really gonna be using or taking that sort of equipment
