I assume you're going back to Morzine? We have now decided to book last minute this winter so you might find you have a couple of visitors :)

Snowbandit and Scapula are heading back to Morzine. I will be across the border in Swiss Valais!

I've moved to Morzine a few weeks ago... me and the kids are learning French. I'm getting to know a few people and the ins and outs now... if you need anything investigated / checked out, just yell... it would be my pleasure and it will get me out of the apartment and learning some stuff :) Helen

Hi Helen,
I would love to hear more about your move to Morzine.. . . sounds very interesting. Where are you living... bought a property or renting? Are the children in School or home taught...are you single or with partner? Also what were your reasons for moving there? to ski ? work?

Crazy, isn't it!
Living centre of Morzine about 200m away from Super Morzine bubble. Renting an apartment for a year. Kids at French school (college in St Jean d'Aulps 10 mins down the road) school buses are cheap and brilliant. They leave me at 7.30 and not back until 5. 1/2 day Wednesdays. 2 hours for lunch (brilliant too... no more packed lunches to make). My husband is commuting; spends a lot of time travelling and I work on the internet so I can do it anywhere and he just comes to visit a week every month (which is great because we do a lot of homework etc in the evenings and live on Google Translate plus my o level memories). I have a vague idea about opening up some business or another; catered chalet or some other services related thing... or just get website clients locally... still thinking about that. I've done a forum where I'm posting a daily update. I don't mean to steal the thunder here though... www.morzine-forum.com. It's more so that I can share what I learn locally because there is an awful lot of word of mouth here and no central information repository :)

Annnnyyyway, enough rambling... do all ask away if you have any questions. I'm all ready to go an scout or take pics etc :)

It's not getting closer, it's been bloody hot here in the Oberwallis today, hurumphhh. I need to renew my einheimische before I can renew my season ticket, jobsworths.
