Thanks to J2ski and Interhome

We did not get away for another ski trip as planned however, we have used the voucher (won on j2ski) to book a summer break in Austria to tour the Tirol. :D We both love Austria, so have booked a week via Interhome using Kuhtai as a base to tour Western Austria. Hope to spend some time in the mountains and do some scouting for new winter trips. We will also spend some time in Innsbruck and Salzburg.

I will write a report for J2ski on our return. :wink:

:D If you do it right, you only need about 25 miles of France, then the rest is in nice old Belguim and Germany )

Much cheaper that way.

Make sure you fill up in Luxembourg, unleaded is 1.33 Euro a litre and diesel 1.15

Seems like the perfect time to try out some grass skis :)

PS The Belguim/Germany route seems to be the one recommended as you do not have to pay the French tolls. As far as distance, there is very little in it. We will be doing this route to Kitzbuhel next season.
