Snowmass in April

I'm heading out to Aspen the first week of April. I heard from a local that the Aspen area gets hammered with snow during this time of year, any word? )

It might get hammered but it might not. Traditionally they may get more snow than usual but it is not a dead cert. Chances are the snow that does fall will fall with warmer air so could be quite heavy and wet.

Whatever happens it looks like a cool area so you will have a great time!
