Hi. I've booked to go to Bansko over New Year with 12 other people. I've read so much on these forums about the good and bad experiences people have had, and would really appreciate any useful tips for our stay. We're in the Antilia Apartments.

Never really fancied Bulgaria, I'm always up for a bargain but it seems a bit too cheap and cheerful, I'll be interested in your comments after you return.

New Year was a nightmare last year - we ended up going home early.

Does that mean you were in bed before 10pm, or does that mean you took a flight back before your scheduled one?

Have been for short break in March of season and enjoyed it, but New Year was hell.
