I am in the US on holiday from the UK. I have never skied in the US before. I am travelling back through Denver the first week in December. Which of the Colorado ski resorts looks good for skiing then ? Any tips for the best ski pass / lodging deals for a solo traveller?

i went to Winter park with school, that was good and the closest major resort to denver. There's plenty about though!
