I learnt a long time ago that there was a technique when you are downhilling fast and cross a bump or a road: you jump an lift you rlegs before the peek of the jump to absorb it and once you passed it you push on your legs to maintain contact with the slope. in order to keep control and increase the speed. What is the name of this technique please ? (I think it is the name of the guy who first did it)

Didn't realise it had a special name... but isn't skiing downhill fast and then crossing a road (!) known as "Oh ****!" ? x)

I believe the name for the technique is 'pre-jumping' the objective is to maintain speed whilst minimising time and height taken in the air.

thanks for your effort. Pre-jumping is what happens but I really think it is the name of the guy who first did it , maybe an austrian or american name... mmmhh, fustrating !
