Leo Messi, the World Cup winning footballer and GOAT (sorry, Ronaldo), recently enjoyed a family ski holiday in the Swiss resort of Crans-Montana.

A-list celebrities are more commonly sighted in ski resorts such as Courchevel, Verbier or Aspen, so this is a huge coup for a resort that has been moving up the worldwide ski rankings.

Messi and family stayed at the Ultima Chalet, a uber luxury 10 bedroom property that includes a cinema, gym, cigar room and heated outdoor pool.

Prices are not listed on the website, but as they say, if you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can't afford it!

The Messi family were joined by fellow footballer Cesc Fabregas, a lifelong friend of Messi from their time together at Barcelona. Fabregas currently plays for Como in the Italian second division.

Although his children enjoyed time on the slopes, it is unlikely that Messi skied. Professional footballers usually have clauses in their contracts that ban them from potentially 'dangerous activities' such as skiing.

Germany and Bayern Munich goalkeeper, Manual Neuer, recently made the mistake of trying to sneak in a few turns after the World Cup, but ended up in hospital.
