Going to Passo Tonale in March anyone ever been ? It's our first trip here we like Italy and heard this area was good and as high gets good snow!
Looking for recommendations on ski hire shops experience and restaurants bars!
We keep things simple but do like our food
Also supermarket? Anything else relevant
Thanks

If you are experienced you may find it a bit limited even if the more diffiCult area at Ponte Di Lengo are still open. Skiing on both sides on the valley. The Presenda Glacier is good but small and the black down is nice. Total ski area is I think about 90 kms so a decent skier will ski it out in 2 days. Its pretty snow sure though.
Carving leaves me all on edge

Been a couple of times - first time as a last minute thing and the second because it is a good place for novices in that it has enough blues to keep them going and because of its layout very difficult to get lost.

Pretty snow sure.
No great yomps to the lifts as there are quite a few along the main road.
And lots of piles of snow (outside the hotel) to bury a cheap bottle of prosecco in to chill whilst getting showered and changed!
