After a few weeks of wondering if it would ever snow again in the Pyrenees, its arrived! 20cm overnight and still snowing. I will resume my mountain reports forthwith. Well, after getting the first gondola up!

Good to hear Brucie. Had a look at the webcams and a browse of Twitter this morning (beats working right) and got excited. Plenty more over the next few weeks before I arrive would be appreciated. What is the forecast?

Good and bad news folks. Snow has improved skiing slightly, but storm force winds are keeping skiing limited and, to be honest, not very pleasant. Word has grabbed my royal ears that winds are forecast to drop and snow to return over the weekend, however.

Cheers for the update Brucie - keep them coming.
Hopefully the forecast snow you talk about will come. Seems mad that there is a lack of snow given the chaos going on elsewhere (granted not in the Pyrenees).
Assume the high winds whipped a lot of the fresh snow from the other day all over the place (not necessarily where we wanted it).

A quick look at the webcams this afternoon isn't filling me with confidence.....
Top of the Soldeu Gondola is looking a bit grey and dare I say it warm!!
Hopefully things will change soon...or is it punishment for a great season last year :(

Is there any sign of more snow coming to Soldeu this week ?
I'm arriving on the 3rd February and looking at the webcams this week, there are a few runs that are in need of more snow!
