Hi All,

Heading out on the 27th January for my second trip to Soldeu (had an amazing time last year). All I have read and looked at shows disappointing snow coverage this year :(

However, forecasts do appear to be looking up (slightly).

Anyone is resort got thoughts on the current conditions and how the longer term forecasts are looking?

See you all in The Harp or Fattys in a few weeks :)

Brucie's the man on the ground, but current weather looks set for another week or so. Beyond that, a couple of the main forecast models (including GFS) are indicating a change in around 7-10 days time but it's anyone's guess how that's going to pan out at the moment - crossing fingers won't hurt...

Thanks for the reply. Doesn't sound promising. Thought there was snow forecast in the next few days....

If Brucie is who I think he is pretty sure I saw him last year on my trip. Great man with a story or two to tell

Hi Arnoldol,
I am in resort and as you know will be found in the usual places! Things are indeed disappointing on the snow front so far this year. However, the piste management is excellent as usual and the cannons keeping links to Pas and Grau open. Best skiing to be had over in Pas at the moment, and it is not at all bad so dont despair.
Here's hoping the forecast weather changes materialise, or the World Cup Finals here in March could be in jeopardy, and that would be bad news for the resort.
See you in a few weeks.

Cheers Brucie,

Silver lining is no matter what snow there is or isn't it is better than sitting at my desk in the office like I currently am #thegrind.

Assuming the Harp will have the Scotland Rugby on the TV (2nd February) I will be there making a fool of myself and singing my heart out.

Cheers
