New England Resorts

We are beginner to intermediate skiers and are looking to go to the Gand Hotel, North Conway in Vermont next New Year (2007/08).

Has anyone been there and give some advice. We appear to be getting a good deal from Virgin Snow Holidays.

Great place! very clean well situated for shopping and social activities, however for skiing it is not ski in ski out.

You will have to use bus!

Bring lots of money since you are in shopping center land with many many factory outlets. I assume you know what these outlets do?

Two great ski resorts in area; Attitash and Wildcat which you must visit. bring your camera since view at Wildcat is "majestic".

Great ski prices! You might forget to bring skis and buy some at North Conway!

Virgin Snow did a great deal and have added 3 days in New York City at the end just to top it off.

North Conway is in New Hampshire but the resorts are right on. You are 1 hour away from Sunday River with 8 peaks and great snow in January (hopefully). The best skiing last year was in March and April. 8)
