Hi
Could anyone advise if there are any runs into 1800 which are super easy for timid beginners, also if the nursery slopes there are good - free lifts ?
Thank you

If you are staying in 1800 the first chairlift out of Villaroger is free plus a couple of 'magic carpets' at 1800 and 2000. Also there are a few blue runs which are generally wide and could almost be classified as green runs. There are also beginner zones in all main Arc runs. I'm sure you will find something suitable for your beginners in Les Arc.

Villaroger is 2 valleys away from Arc1800 - did you mean something else?

I don't know about free lifts off-hand, but there are a number of long, wide Blues on the 1800 side and I think all are served by either modern chairs (slow down to get you on and off) or gondola (transarc?) so very suitable for beginners who want to progress from the nursery slopes.

If your beginner(s) gain a little confidence in the week then Les Arcs is a great place for getting some miles under their skis; there are long Blues to just about everywhere in the domain.

Take Villards up to the "top" of Mille 8, they have a magic carpet/beginners area there and the blue run back to the village is slow and winding.

Alternatively take the "transarc" halfway up and take "plan bois" then turn right when it meets "maitaz" that's a really nice cruizer that's not too steep and has some flatish spots if you want to stop. Be aware it's a little steep coming back into the village there though.

Finally you could take "Grizzly" from Vallandry, and basically, there are 3/4 motorway reds/blues which are so wide you can't really go wrong.
