Hi Brucie
Thinking of Soldeu for New Year but concerned about the likely snow level. Never been to Andorra before!

No guarantee Tricia, but in Soldeu we have been sliding all December the last few years when the Alps have been green.

Hi I have been to Soldeu twice before in January, staying at the Himalaya. This time I am looking at staying in March at the Maistre as my budget is tight. What are the slopes like in March ? what are your thoughts opn the Maistre hotel ? I know its smaller and there is no swimming pool etc. As long as its clean and warm at night I will be happy. What is the food like and is it a buffet self service ? Where is the cheapest place to buy lift passes ? Can you still buy them online with lunch vouchers ?

Hi Crusher. Can I phone a friend?
But seriously, the snow should be fine in March, maybe spring conditions, depends.
Maistre is fine, food ok apparently, its own bar, and good location.(Maybe 50m further than Himalaya to Gondola).
Don't know about lift passes, but I do know they can be bought with lunch included. Don't know where though.
