I am going to buy a Nidecker 147 Snowboard on ebay
I am a first time buyer but i am only 12 so my uncle is buying it for me i like to ride freestyle at hillend slopes in Scotland and wondering if a Nidecker 147 (triangled nose?) snow board is for me???

Depends on your height. The board tip of the board should not go higher than your nose when you stand the baord on its tail. To check you measure from your nose to the ground.
Secondly for freestyle shorter is better as a guide look for something below your chin. The shorter it is the easier it is to spin but hardeer to go really fast.
Thirdly Nidecker are at the cheap end of the market so do not pay too much. You can pick up a new one for approx 100 GBP so don`t expect to pay more than 30 or 40 on ebay.

I heard that Nidecker were very good boards just not as well known in UK and US.

I couldn't see the board on ebay, but the tiangled nose described above does not sound like a modern board. Does it have a 4x4 binding mounting patern ? Nidecker have been around a long time and make great alpine (race) snowboards.
