Off to morzine at the end of January and am getting concerned with the lack of snow. Will you all please do a snow dance and prey to the snow gods. Thanks...

I have said similar in an other thread about the lack of snow, anything can happen between now and the end of January so only start to worry if there is no snow a couple of days before you travel.
When in doubt?....Flat out.

Unless Morzine gets snow in the next week you will have to get the bus up to Avoiraz each day to ski. It's only 20 minutes and is worth it.
When in doubt?....Flat out.

Off to Meribel in just over a week, forecast looks pants. Only trip this season, looking to be a big disappointment.

At least it will be quieter on slopes. If weather doesn't change (at the moment there is very little confidence that it will) pack hiking boots. Skiing the same limited icy runs over and over again can be frustrating, so go hiking every other day and you will be happy about this beautiful weather.

There is several major snopw storms expected in the next week or so, but the best skiing right now is in Austrian, Swiss and even German ski resorts! I bet not many of us have skied in Germany?
