Hello to all who may read this. I was hoping that you could help, using the power of social media, to find a first aider who attended an accident on 6 th February 2015 in St Anton. I'm suing the man who hit me and the information the first aided noted down would be immensely helpful to my case. The information was unfortunately dismissed by the ambulance crew with the words of "we have it from here", but she has crucial information as to how long I was unconscious etc.
Her English was fluent with no accent so I think she was southern British. She wore gloves and did the primary scan and was making notes and took name and address information so I think she was well trained. If this story sound familiar, or you know who my Good Samaritan may be
Please share this post. Thanks to you all.

Suzi. Good luck with that. Snowheads has a much larger forum than J2Ski with several people who live in St Anton - may be worth putting your enquiry on there

At St Anton the lift company (Arlberger Bergbahnen AG) via their piste rescue service (Pistenrettungsdienst) is responsible for attending accidents within the ski area. The name of the first aider (Pistenhelfer/in) who attended to your injuries should have been recorded in the accident report (Unfallbericht). Did they not include a copy when they invoiced you for the cost of treatment and transport to the ambulance? Was the accident reported to the Alpinpolizei (alpine police), they are responsible for investigating skiing accidents. I would have thought that all of this would be taken care of by your lawyer, have you engaged a lawyer who specialises in skiing accidents? http://www.pm-anwaelte.at/en/specialist-areas/skiing-accidents-in-austria

Thanks for all the advice and yes I have a lawyer and we are preparing the court case. As you say all this information should have been in the documents given to me by the police. I have contacted the lift company and the mountain rescue with no joy. I think the first wider was a tourist but with first aid training hence the search for her since her information has been lost and I would very much like to have this for my case. Thanks to everyone who is offering suggestions. I am following all possibilities

You think this person was a tourist? From the information you give, she doesn't sound like the average tourist. I don't know anyone who skis with medical gloves in their pocket on the off chance they'll need to help at an accident. Also, why would they bother taking notes, or your name and address? This person sounds like more than just a random tourist.

I agree there is logic to the argument and I will keep persueing all leads. My husband is X Ogwyn Valley mountain rescue team and carries a first aid kit etc from habit.
