Hi all.

We have half booked a ski chalet in Alpe D'Huez for 21 January next year, it's called Les Eterlous and works out at £880 with ski carriage and £840 without (fully catered, and that price includes all area ski passes). Please let me know if you have any interest and I will give more details.

Thanks

Steve

Hang on, I might have missed out that this includes flights, transfers etc.......

We always pay around the £800 mark, Tony if you can help with who does the whole package for less I'd be interested of course.

My bad. I missed the bit about including lift passes.
Book it.

For reference, I have been working on the basis of £1000 for a week skiing in January or March - flights, transfers, accommodation, all meals, all drinks, lift passes. That may be a package where the flights, transfers, accommodation etc come to £500-£600 depending on board, or DIY with BA flights, car hire, B&B - often works out similar.
However past few years we have found club med covers everything pretty much and its usually possible to book for just under the £1000 park - with that you get all inclusive food and drink: breakfast lunch and dinner as well as all hotel drinks, lift passes, lessons/guiding if you want it, and normally scheduled airline flights at a time to suit (depending on airport flying to). Might be worth a look?

Last time I went to ADH it cost me £360pp for a chalet hotel package flying into Chambery ex LGW, lift pass was extra though, that was 3 years ago and a late deal.....thats why I thought £800 sounded a lot but you've got a £200 lift pass in that cost as well so its probably not bad for 2017 to be fair.

Thanks Tony, I might come back to you for a bit of ADH advice if that's ok? This is our 9th 'gents trip, and we've never been over the £900 mark for everything included.

Thanks also for the info about Club Med, that's definitely worth a look.

Cheers

Steve
