Hi Guys, im heading to Les Gets at the end of January my family including two kids. Im trying to find out what selection of Restaurants are in the town,we have the option of half board in the Hotel but would like to eat out most evening. I am hoping that if the kids just want to grab a Pizza that would be available.
Any info would be appreciated.
Cheers

Hi Paul
I'm also from Jersey. I went to Les Gets a few years back on two separate holidays, one was a catered ski week without the kids and the other trip I drove down with the children and rented an apartment for Easter hols. I found the catered option better value for money as eating out and shopping for food was expensive. I can't remember all the restaurants there now but there are some lovely mountain ones which serve delicious pizza and more traditional food too. At least the catered option would still leave you lunch times to please yourselves. I remember there being some very nice restaurants in the town also and Morzine is not far away with lots of options there.

Les gets is a small resort by comparison to the others. We have been half board most times, there's a few restaurants in the town but not a great variety
Where are you staying? We go there on 23 Jan

Try "The Boomerang", amazing burgers, hand cut chips ...friendly owner.. also usually a nice plat de jour!

Hi Paul,
I have been to Les Gets on many occasions and have eaten and stayed at the Boomerang. Great atmosphere and not a rip off, you can look on their web site for type of food and prices.Fantisic pizzas and burgers for kids and specials and Tapas
In fact I have just booked a table for 10 for next March 2016
