Hello there! I'm coming over to 2 alpes for a week starting 28th January but im starting to stress myself with all the forecasts of a week more of sunny warm weather!!
Is there any local mate that can please tell me what the conditions are really like right now? Is it worthy enough for bording? Its my first time at this resort so I dont have much ideia how it really is only by cheacking the resort's report/webcam. I would very much love to be able to board offpiste to La Grave but it seems that I better not think to much about it :cry:

Hi Nuno,
I am going out next weekend to Alpe d'huez, just near deux alpes. There is a lot of snow there now but the higher temps are melting it. both the resorts are so high I am not worrying too much. apparently the temps are going to drop end next week anyways,

spent a day skiing there last week and theres plenty of snow, especially on the runs on the glacier. the lower slopes do need snow but they were still skiiable.

Just looked at the forecast on Snow-forecast.com for 6 days and they say snow next week wed and thursday for Alpez d'huez and les deux alpes so good news!

Thanks for your replies guys! It made me feel more relaxed about it :)
I also checked 6 days snowforecast.com this morning and it seems some "white stuff" is on the way, which is good news, still with fairly high temperatures at the bottom, so some rain predicted for the lower slopes.....Its doesnt seem too be the so needed blizzard but its better than nothing :)
I also "have" next week for the blizzard to come before I go, so my fingers couldnt be more crossed!!!!!

PS: Did you guys checked the reports for westcoast US/Canada resorts?? Massive 400 cm in the upper slopes!!! uau!!!

Hey all thanks for the info. Theres a big group of Irish Snowboarders going over there the same week. We arrive on the 27th. Looks like there may be a dump next Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday so lets just cross those fingers that it actually happens!
