Hello, I really need some help on choosing ski resort about that December. We are planning to go in Austria at about the 20th of December. And I am not sure if there is going to be plenty of snow at all ski resorts. We are thinking about Saalbach ,Does anyone knows if that season has enough snow ? Or even if it doesnt, does the snow cannons are enough ?
Thak you in advance!!

By 20th December, most ski areas should have reasonable cover.

It's never guaranteed, of course, and there's no way to predict what this year will be like but there's no good reason to think there won't be enough snow by then.

Saalbach's not massively high but will almost certainly be cold enough for their snow cannons to run even if they've not had big snows so you should be good.

We went on the 6th of Jan to Lech and there was lots of great new snow. Ok, it's 2 weeks after you want to go but hopefully it is a good indication for you?

Hello,

I am going to Austria in the end of November. I'd like to know if Innsbruck would be a good idea for beginners in this period? Blue long pistes working in Innsbruck or it is wiser to go to Stubaier or Solden?

Lech would have better snow record for December
