Hi,

I am going away 9-10th January for a week and looking for something cheap, good skiing and decent nightlife (dont want much ay!).

I have been told some many things, someone has just mentioned Pas de le Casa in Andorra but upon reading reviews seemed a bit s**t, any advice on this would be appreciated as its doing my head in trying to choose a decent place for 8 lads.

We like a night out but also love our skiing.

Cheers.

Saalbach seems to be a favourite for good skiing and apres.

It depends on how you define cheap. If you're self cater it's a heck of a lot cheaper than catered chalet or hotels, so maybe this is an option and you can spread your budget a bit further then. It all depends on your skill level too, skiing is first so you don't want to be bored waiting for the bars to open!

I always think La Plagne is a great all round choice, and it's not a bank breaker like the 3 valleys. Good luck in your choosing.

Pas would suit a group of 8 guys perfectly. And access to the Grandvalira area on your doorstep. And regarding Bulgaria, the universal opinion on here, I believe, will be a resounding no!

What about booking last minute and be prepared to split into smaller groups for accommodation? Paradiski, 3V etc, will have partly filled chalets and if you're lucky an unfilled chalet which you can take over. 9th Jan is very low season so there should be bargains. Nights out in France may get pricey though.
