Is Les Arcs good for beginners?

If you've never seen Arc1950 before you're in for a surprise. It was built by Intrawest the Canadian company who built Whistler. It has now been sold to Pierre & Vacances to give it a bit more French flavour.

I never miss a stop at La Bolee for pancakes washed down with Kir Breton (Cider and Cassis). It is after all a Breton pancake house )
