Been to Sweden Are took ski lessons. People lovely all speak English. But cost of lessons crippling start at £50 an hour. Eating out a coffee £2.50. Loaf of bread £2. Can anyone advise for next year. Looked at Chepelare Bulgaria. But Bulgaria sounds rubbish. Im new skier green slopes son 8 already on blue slopes hubby same as me. Borobeanvet :shock: :roll: :D

Borobeanvet, you are misguided if you think Bulgaria is rubbish for beginners, they have some great greens, blues and reds, they may not be the steepest slopes around, but get yourself into Pamporovo Ski School and they will bring you on very quickly. We have been for the last 4 years, meet up with some great people time again, and will be going back again in Jan 2015. I would recommend the Orlovitz Hotel, excellent hotel but food aveage, the Snezhanker can be a bit livelier with more variety of food, especially for the 8 y/o. Wherever you go enjoy the skiing

I have to agree with Atomicboots, the standard of Bulgarian ski school is good.
