I thought £1650 was expensive let alone that mental price!
I did st Moritz 2 years ago with club meld for under £1000 so that's a sign of the times with those costs.

Prices hiked last year. I managed to get in early and got a slightly better rate - but when you do a 'name change' you lose the Early Booking bonus - hence the high cost.

If the spare place is due to an injury, can't they just claim the money back under their insurance policy?
Oh - and sympathy to whoever it is that hurt themselves and can't go now :(

Unfortunately the insurance company want £700 more to cover her - which is why she has decided it just isn't worth it ;(
