Hi All,
I'll be travelling to Washington with work from the 31st March to about the 7th April this year and have just had the idea that it might be possible to sneek a cheeky day on the snow in!
Can anyone recommend a resort within a day trip distance from DC that may still have snow at that time?
Standard and size isn't the main objective as this will be a bonus day on the snow but it would be nice to have a bit of harder stuff and some backcountry if possible!
Also if there was a way to get to resort without hiring a car it would make the day a bit cheaper!
All suggestions gratefully received!
Where to go, close to DC on 2nd April?

Just got on this forum, a bit late for your trip, but all the mid-Atlantic resorts closed a few weeks ago. Skied Snowshoe WV their last day with fresh snow, and they closed with 100% conditions, but few visitors this late to make it viable. Vermont is still skiing.g.
