Courchevel hotels

Have you ever stayed in "Maeva Les Ecrins". how was it? any advice

I've never stayed there but I know the building.
It is a huge 1970's high rise block.
Definitely budget accommodation but no loss for that as long as you know what to expect.
If I were looking for self catering in Courchevel I would consider 1550 where things are noticeably less expensive than 1850 and with great access to skiing and for pedestrians as well.
