Thanks for that. I've just never really noticed before so it seemed like I was doing something wrong, or something right.

Nobody? I was hoping that was a dead giveaway for a technique problem. Anyway I've bought "The all mountain skier" and a Harold Harb book so I'm trying to figure things out.

Hi all,
I went to the Chillfactore indoor slope yesterday and today my calf muscles are aching. I've been going to the gymn to be ready for my next trip in three weeks. I'm working mostly on my quads because that's where I usually feel it when skiing. Is there something about my technique causing the calf ache? Is this common? Thanks |

Hi,
If your flying in to Geneva airport make sure you know which "side" your car is. You could queue on the Swiss side for an hour before realising your car is on the French side. If it is on the French side you will get quicker more friendly service but take special care with the directions for returning your car. Mike |

Hi all,
Am off to Montchavin (La Plagne) 5 weeks tomorrow. Ive looked at the ski and boot hire on this site and it comes out about EU150 for 8 days. Whats the going rate in French resorts at the moment? Anyone just come back? Thanks |

What about the Warren Smith DVDs advertised on this site?
Anyone tried them? |

For me personally, a more important question is what is hip counter?
I'm self taught... |

Thanks Trencher. I should mention that I'm the guy in front with the dodgy white leathers. A friend of mine is on the camera bike.
On the bike I need a body position like Rossi or stoner and on the skis like Bayliss or Sheene. I think. |
