I normally have winter sports cover on my annual holiday policy but when I actually bothered to read the small print I realised that I wasn't really covered for much at all - thank goodness nothing has happened to me on the mountain! I am not looking for really expensive holiday insurance just something that will cover me if I have an accident.
Thanks :) :(

I think you'll find the added winter sports just adds skis lift passes piste closure etc. The actual medical insurance is there anyway! I use insurefor.com. I et annual travel insurance for a family of 4, including winter sports, for £68 and then get £13 cashback for going through a cashback site, so £55 for 4 of us, which works out at £14 each for a year including winter sports. You get up to 17 days skiing with that
Where was it you were last week Snapzz? It looks so familiar but apart from Arinsal I've not skied where you've been and it doesn't look like Arinsal to me.
Bardonecchia Any info?

We are going soon to this resort and wondered if anyone had any info on it?
We are staying at the La Betulla. I am aware there were bad reviews of it last yr, but have read some good reviews on trip advisor saying they've pulled their socks up. Don't know much about the resort tho. It says there are some black runs, but i can't see any on the map. I promised the kids they could do some blacks this yr. All the runs appear to be blue and red tho!
I have also red that many blues are like reds. I prefer gentle blues as as I have a bad knee. Is there a gentle run right down fromn the top? Also are there 3 different "areas" It looks like 3 seperate ski areas from the map.

Can we drink the water there safely? I know you usually can in mountain areas but just wanted to check. And I have heard reports they allow smoking in hotels?? They don't do they? And surely not at meal times? Not bothered about me, but have 2 teens and dont want them breathing it in!

Anyway if anyone has any info it'd be gratefully received. Cheers DD

Hi folks

I got annual hoilday cover for 4, including winter sports for 2 adults and 2 kids 16 and 13 for £68 with £13 cashback going thru a cashback site

If you are not a quidco member can you please use my link to sign up
tp://www.quidco.com/user/56198/ then I earn cashback when you earn you first however much I think

Sign up there. Then log in (You MUST be logged in to earn cashback) Then oput insurefor.com into the search and it will bring that up
Click on the "visit retailer and earn cashback " tab
The prices are very good. I think I went for the middle one. There is a basic standard then a middle one then a top of the range, which gives lower excesses etc. The middle one costr me £68, and I got £13 cashback paid. other websites you can earn cashback from are Thomas Cook Crystal and neilson! (Plus Argos, tesco, homebase etc. I even earned £2 off my car parking with airparks, and also park and go I have used!!)

have a look and see what you think! Cheers DD PS Send me a message if you are at all worried. I know I have only just posted for the first time so you may be concerned. I was coming to look at any info on Bardonecchia and saw this.
Anybody? Please!
Hi
We head off next month. We are just beginners and like to just muck about on the lower slopes. Are there any free lifts for beginners in the area? Does anyone know if there is a website about lift passes/prices in neukirchen please?
Thank you
