I am off to Pamporovo in Feb and although I am going half board what I read is the evening meal is not so great

Anyway wondered if anyone know what are the prices like

Looking at ski passes and equipment hire they seem to be about 25% higher in Pamporovo then elsewhere in Bulgaria

I have read that prices are high and read prices are very cheap in restaurants, shops and so on

Not much on the net

Any feedback appreciated

Out of interest what does everyone pack in their ski bag

I am considering getting a large ski bag for my skis but also hoping to pack other stuff in their such as boots, shi clothing and so on

mine have lived in the workshop and now in the conservatory

Interesting post but can someone name some resorts

Would like to go before 20 December for 5 to 7 days (I need to be back in UK for the 20th)

Has anyone skied in Turkey I been told its a fantastic and cheap place to go skiing and all year round skiing is possible yet I have found info hard to get.

I am just surprised how different each one is

Off to Poland for a bit of skiing next week, hurray, I know its not the most popular place (but it has plenty of gentle slops for my standard of skiing - I usually go for the head first style.

Having naturally visited J2ski site first - which seems to change every few hours - I find myself looking at weather underground, accuweather and others and they are all different

Take Sat 26 Jan the daY I arrive

J2Ski says max temp 2C Mini 0, 5cm of snow
Accuweather says max 2, mini -4 no snow
Weatherunderground max 1 mini -1 snow at night
onet.pl (local weather) max 2 mini -5, 0.7mm of snow and 0.1mm of rain

All the above give different wind forcasts too from 6KMs per hour to 30

So confused!
