There is 6 of us going and we are begin/inter skiers and looking to go to La Thuile but would like some info from someone who has been.
What is the snow like generally at the end of January? What are the slopes like? Reading about, it seems to be a quiet resort. We are not after a mad week but would like few pubs and a club. Went to St Wolfgang and it was very dead with only 1 lively pub! Any info would be great :D |

I?m a beginner at skiing and was wondering about goggles as I where glasses. Two questions really:- 1. Is it possible to where glasses under Ski goggles safely? 2. I was going to where contact lenses but not sure how these would react with goggles on and up on the slopes? Any suggestions about glasses or contact lenses would be great |

I'm off skiing for the first time on the 27th Jan to the St Wolfgang resort staying at the Cortisen am see and was wondering:
1 - What the area is like and what I should see? 2 - What the skiing is like for beginners? 3 - What I should take with me for skiing? 4 - Any nice places to eat and drink? Any other useful comments of pointers to other web pages would also be must appreciated Thanks Dan :D :D |
